to the website of the ASEF University Alumni Network. ASEFUAN is a grouping of young leaders from 43 Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) countries who share a strong interest in the promotion of inter-cultural relations between Asia and Europe .
ASEFUAN was founded in Bali in April 2002 by the graduates of the ASEF University Programme, a project organized by the Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF) which brings together some of the most outstanding undergraduates in Asia and Europe. Our members are typically university graduates in the fields of Social and Political Science, Economics, Law and Business..
We currently have a membership of over 400 in all ASEM countries. We hold as our aims the strengthening of cross-cultural ties and the promotion of excellence within our membership as well as the fostering of Asia-Europe relations at a grass roots and local community level.
ASEFUAN organises activities to maintain and reinforce the relationships forged among participants of the ASEF University programme and undertakes projects to promote a meaningful intercultural dialogue between Asia and Europe, particularly among the younger generation.

2009 Model ASEM Conference in Le Havre
The SciencesPo Paris Europe-Asia undergraduate programme and the ASEF University Alumni Network (ASEFUAN) call for participants for the 2009 Model ASEM Conference in Le Havre, a simulation of the Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) for international high school students with strong interest in the political, economic and social relations between Asia and Europe. Fifteenth ASEF University, Wanju, Korea, June - July 2009
The Asia-Europe Foundation and the Woosuk University are pleased to invite qualified young individuals from Asia and Europe to participate in the fifteenth edition of the ASEF University, to be held from 29 June to 11 July 2009 in the Republic of Korea. This year's ASEF University will aim to compare, connect and contrast the impacts of the globalisation process on Migration and Multi-Cultural Societies. Further information.
