Our Logo

The ASEFUAN logo is a starfish. The starfish it is a flat organism, with no front or back, it can go in any direction, it is flexible, doesn’t see with eyes but feels with its entire body using all of its parts to make sense of its world, it moves through coordination of its equally able parts. The starfish symbolises our network, a flat organization not based on hierarchy, but on coordination and cooperation from each vital and important member. And unlike stars up in the sky, starfish are “stars” on the ground, immersed in their world, aware of their environment. The starfish is simple and visually easy to digest. It is common enough to be recognized, while different enough with a twist: angled slightly off-center and rendered in strong, bold, but controlled strokes. It suggests the organization’s youthful membership, avoiding a stiff or rigid look.
